Lattice is a note-taking app built on plain Markdown files you own. Link notes with [[wikilinks]], organize with #tags, and follow backlinks — the whole vault is just a folder of .md files you can copy between devices. A built-in assistant runs entirely on-device: ask it about your notes or tell it to remember something, and it files or updates notes for you, without your notes ever leaving the device.
